6-Month, Full-Time Virtual | Unpaid | Nebula Academy

Are you looking to level up your skills for the modern workforce, gain real experience in a SaaS/EdTech environment, and work side-by-side with a CEO?

The Nebula Academy Modern Workforce & AI Fellowship is an intensive 6-month virtual experience where you’ll support the launch of a new SaaS product, help with the launch of a new book and related speaking engagements, and contribute to the launch of a new podcast tied to that book.

This is a non-paid, full-time fellowship that emphasizes learning, professional growth, and meaningful portfolio-building.

What This Fellowship Is

The Nebula Academy Fellowship is a 6-month, full-time virtual role where you will:

  • Support the CEO and leadership team with research, administrative work, and special projects

  • Be directly involved in the launch of a new SaaS product

  • Contribute to the launch of a new book, including CEO speaking engagements

  • Support the launch of a new podcast connected to the book and core themes of our work

  • Develop modern workforce skills in AI, marketing, operations, and communication

  • Gain exposure to SaaS business models, workforce development, and training programs

What You’ll Do

Fellows will have a varied, hands-on role that may include:

Product Launch & Thought Leadership

  • Assist in planning and coordination for the launch of a new SaaS product, including:

    • Light research on customer segments and competitors

    • Organizing feedback from early users

    • Supporting documentation, tracking tasks, and preparing summaries for the CEO

  • Support the book launch, including:

    • Helping coordinate CEO speaking engagements (scheduling, prep materials, follow-up)

    • Organizing contacts and outreach lists related to events, partners, and media

  • Contribute to the launch of a new podcast tied to the book and our mission:

    • Supporting episode planning, outreach, scheduling guests, and organizing content assets

Research & Analysis

  • Market and industry research related to workforce development, AI, and SaaS

  • Summarizing reports and insights for use in decision-making and presentations

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Acting as an executive assistant to the CEO (calendar support, follow-up, documentation)

  • Preparing meeting notes, action lists, and follow-up communications

  • Supporting coordination with partners, clients, and stakeholders

Modern Workforce & AI Skills

  • Using AI tools to support writing, research, content development, and data organization

  • Helping develop and refine processes that integrate AI into daily work

Marketing & Nurture Campaigns

  • Assisting with email nurture campaigns, social media coordination, and content drafts

  • Helping organize marketing assets, contact lists, and light CRM-related tasks

  • Supporting content for workforce development and training programs, book promotion, and podcast episodes

You will work closely with the CEO and core team and will be exposed to many aspects of running and scaling a modern SaaS-based learning business and thought leadership platform.

What You’ll Gain

  • Develop modern marketing skills, especially nurture marketing and multi-channel campaigns (email, events, speaking, podcast)

  • Strengthen your communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Receive:

    • A detailed reference upon successful completion

    • An updated portfolio of work and experiences (product launch, book/podcast support, marketing activities)

    • The possibility to enroll in an apprenticeship program with Nebula Academy after the fellowship, based on performance and organizational needs

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for someone who is:

Educated

  • Minimum of a 4-year degree (any discipline, but related fields are a plus)

Tech-Confident

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for collaboration, meetings, and file sharing

Professional & Reliable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

  • Demonstrates good work ethic and professional maturity

  • Able to pivot between different assignments and adapt to changing priorities

  • Comfortable with problem solving and asking good questions

Availability

  • Available for a 6-month, full-time, virtual commitment

Time Commitment & Logistics

  • Type: Non-paid fellowship

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Location: 100% virtual/remote

  • Schedule: Full-time (standard business hours; some flexibility may be considered)

    • Selected applicants will be asked to complete a series of assessments, which may include:

      • Modern workforce / strengths or skills assessments

      • Communication or writing samples

      • Basic technology proficiency related to Office 365 and Teams

  3. Interview

    • Qualified candidates will be invited to a virtual interview with members of the Nebula Academy team.

  4. Project Assignment

    • Final candidates will complete a small project (e.g., a short research brief, organizational task, or marketing support exercise) to evaluate their capabilities, communication, and attention to detail.

  5. Selection & Onboarding

    • After reviewing all project submissions, we will select the Fellow, confirm the start date, and begin onboarding.
